A national health service in Scotland is seeking a Cook to provide high-quality catering services at the Perth Royal Infirmary. The ideal candidate will possess good knowledge of health and safety procedures and prior experience in large scale catering. This role requires working 30 hours a week with varied shifts. A vacancy has arisen for a Cook who is required to deliver a high standard of Catering Services across P&K Hospital sites based at Perth Royal Infirmary to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining a clean, safe working environment. You must have a working knowledge of HACCP, Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
Previous experience in a large scale catering environment is essential.
Knowledge of work procedures, practices and equipment through experience and professional qualifications to City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or SVQ/NVQ Level 3 standard
You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. You must also be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and able to cope under pressure.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
