We are currently recruiting a Part Time Cook based in Salisbury, working for a great organisation at the heart of the community. This is a permanent position.

The Cook's role is paying £14.26 per hour. Shifts are as follows:

Shifts

Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday 9am – 1:30pm

Duties
  • To provide a suitable, balanced midday meal appropriate to the needs of residents
  • You will be preparing lunches and desserts for circa 15 people.
  • Promote good customer and staff relations
  • Maintaining a clean environment in line with health and safety standards
  • Keep up with trends and seasonal ingredients
  • Ensure all supplies are stocked and all reasonable dietary requirements are considered
Skills and experience
  • Previous, demonstrable experience in a kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills, with a customer-centred approach to service delivery
  • Good teamwork
  • Awareness of relevant legislation; Food Hygiene, Health & Safety and Allergen Awareness
  • Committed and enthusiastic
  • Up to date Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to undertake training
