A local education trust is seeking a Cook to join their Catering Team. The role involves managing kitchen operations, food ordering, and stock control at The Boulevard Academy and other Trust schools. Candidates must be competent and friendly, with the ability to work under pressure. A thorough pre-employment check will be conducted due to the role involving contact with children.
Salary: Grade 4 Point 5-7 (£20,789 - £21,455 actual salary)
Hours: 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days
Working hours: Monday - Friday 7:15am - 2:45pm (30 mins unpaid break)
Additional requirements: Additional days for training may be required
Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and experienced cook to join our in-house Catering Team. The role will primarily be based at The Boulevard Academy, but the post holder may be required to work across other Trust schools.
The successful candidate will be a competent and confident cook, adaptable to changing situations, and able to work calmly under pressure. Responsibilities include managing the operational aspects of running a kitchen, food ordering, and stock control. Punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
