Due to our successful growth and commitment to excellent care and service for clients and children, we are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team.

The Role

As a Cook in one of our schools, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering a healthy, nutritious, and fun menu for students and staff. You will focus on providing high-quality food and service, bringing flair and originality to make this one of the best catering offers in the area.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Preparing menus using provided recipes
  2. Ensuring Food Hygiene, Allergen, and Health and Safety compliance
  3. Producing hospitality services as per client requests
  4. Supervising the team
  5. Building relationships with clients and customers
  6. Providing friendly and polite customer service
About You

We are looking for someone passionate about delivering exceptional food and service in schools, with the following skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of education catering, using fresh ingredients, and excellent craft skills
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 & 3 (further training available)
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Computer literacy and experience with various systems
  • Self-motivated, proactive, eager to learn, and able to motivate others
What We Offer

Enjoy fantastic hours working Monday to Friday during school term time, with no late nights! This role offers:

  • 35 hours per week
  • 38 weeks per year, aligned with school terms
  • £15 per hour
