Adecco UK & Ireland is seeking a Temporary Cook for The Bungalow Children's Home in Eastbourne. You will prepare and cook nutritious meals for children and staff in a residential setting, Monday to Friday 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM, with alternating Saturdays and Sundays.

This six-week contract requires maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safeguarding. The role offers PAYE pay at £13.49 per hour with weekend will-work and time off during the midweek when a weekend shift is worked, and

Formación

• Previous experience in a cooking or catering role.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
• Experience ordering stock and managing food supplies.
• Ability to work independently and manage kitchen duties effectively.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Temporary Cook - Children's Home (6-Week Contract)

Location: The Bungalow Children's Home, Sorrel Drive, Eastbourne, BN23 8BH

Contract: Temporary

Rate: £13.49 per hour PAYE

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Weekends: Every other Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Time off: Days off during the week when working a weekend

The role involves maintaining high standards of food hygiene, managing kitchen supplies, ordering ingredients and stock online, and ensuring the kitchen remains clean, safe, and compliant with cleaning schedules and food safety regulations.
