Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a dedicated Cook to join the Catering Department at Withybush General Hospital in Haverfordwest. You will prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals for patients, staff and visitors in a busy NHS kitchen.
The role is 30 hours per week with weekend and bank holiday shifts on a rolling rota, between 6:30am and 7:00pm. City & Guilds 706 Parts 1 and 2 (or NVQ Level 3) and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate are required; Welsh language ability is desirable.

We currently have one 30-hour Cook position available. At Withybush General Hospital in Haverfordwest, you will be responsible for the day-to-day preparation and production of meals within a busy hospital catering environment. Working as part of a supportive and hardworking team, you will help maintain the high standards of food quality, safety and customer service that are essential within an NHS setting. The role includes working weekends and Bank Holidays on a rolling rota basis, with shifts operating between 6:30am and 7:00pm, working 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Sunday. You will work within a fast-paced commercial kitchen, supporting the delivery of an efficient and responsive catering service while adhering to strict food hygiene and health and safety standards.
