We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes in a clean, well-organised, and health-compliant kitchen. You will support menu development, manage stock efficiently, and ensure consistent food quality while minimising waste. Maintaining high kitchen hygiene standards and following all safety regulations will be essential. Flexibility and a proactive attitude are key, as the role may involve additional duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Quality Control:
•?Cook and prepare a variety of dishes to a high standard, contributing to the smooth daily running of the kitchen.
•?Maintain exceptional food quality, flavour, and presentation in every dish served.
Kitchen Maintenance & Cleanliness:
•?Ensure all kitchen equipment is used correctly and maintained in line with manufacturer guidelines.
•?Promote and maintain cleanliness across the kitchen, ensuring all team members clean as they go and leave workstations spotless after each shift.
Health & Safety Compliance:
•?Comply with all relevant food hygiene and safety regulations, including COSHH, the Food Safety Act 1990, and HACCP.
•?Ensure all kitchen staff follow company safety policies and wear correct uniform and protective gear.
Administration & Reporting:
•?Support accurate record-keeping for stock levels, kitchen activities, and food safety procedures.
The Candidate:
•?Food Safety & Hygiene Certification: Ideally hold Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards and Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace.
•?Attention to Detail: Committed to high standards in food preparation, cleanliness, and safety.
•?Adaptability: Open to new ideas, processes, and evolving culinary trends.
•?Self-Motivation & Initiative: Able to work independently and maintain a high level of productivity without supervision.
•?Positive Attitude: Friendly, approachable, and a dependable team player with a supportive attitude.
