About the role:

Feeding our children healthy, nutritionally balanced food is key to the wellbeing of our little ones. Your Co-op Little Pioneers operates with a unique ethos focused on fun and kindness, aiming to nurture a considerate generation. Your skills will help us achieve outstanding ratings from colleagues, families, and children.

Who are we looking for?

  1. Have an enhanced DBS check or pass one with flying colours
  2. Food Hygiene Level 2 or equivalent, or willing to complete the course within the first week of work, or have a certified equivalent
  3. Sound knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and COSHH requirements
  4. Experience in catering for large numbers
  5. Good budget management skills to ensure cost efficiencies
  6. Knowledge of managing dietary requirements
  7. Experience working with Environmental Health
  8. Excellent organisational and time management skills
  9. Strong listening and communication skills
