Eventus Legal is recruiting for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join the property department in Lichfield. This permanent role offers a chance to manage a quality caseload within a supportive, modern environment, with flexible and hybrid working arrangements (full time or part time).

Responsibilities

• Managing a busy caseload of residential conveyancing files from initial instruction through to completion and post‑completion formalities.
• Advising clients on sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Reviewing title documentation and carrying out detailed title investigations.
• Preparing and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds and completion documents.
• Raising enquiries and responding to enquiries from other parties in a timely manner.
• Liaising regularly with clients, estate agents, brokers and other solicitors to progress transactions efficiently.
• Conducting due diligence and ensuring all compliance obligations are satisfied.
• Managing anti‑money laundering requirements and source of funds checks.
• Identifying potential risks and resolving issues to avoid delays in transactions.
• Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
• Working collaboratively with support staff and colleagues across the wider team.
• Keeping up to date with changes in legislation and conveyancing practice.
