Job description

We are seeking a Fee Earner / Legal Executive to join a small but busy Residential Conveyancing team.

Duties will include:

  1. Managing a caseload of residential property matters, including freehold/leasehold sales and purchases, Shared Ownership, Re-mortgages, and New Build developments.
  2. Handling cases from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring the highest standards of service throughout.
  3. Drafting and approving legal documentation, including contracts and transfer deeds.
  4. Managing all post-completion formalities.
  5. Conducting legal research where necessary to support your caseload.
  6. Providing clear, concise, and responsive legal advice to clients at all stages, and through your paralegal / administration support colleagues.
  7. Maintaining the firm's case management system accurately and efficiently.

Desired skills:

  1. Ideally 3 years+ Residential Conveyancing fee earning experience.
  2. Track record of meeting fee targets and deadlines.
  3. Strong legal knowledge and understanding of the conveyancing process.
  4. Excellent communication and client care skills.
  5. Ability to work independently while contributing to the wider team.
  6. Networking with the wider practice, to ensure cross over legal service opportunities.
