Job summary

G2legal is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Legal Executive in Eastbourne, East Sussex, with work-from-home options available. The role involves handling a full caseload, advising on sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity, and managing ID checks and searches.

The ideal candidate will be legally qualified (Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer) with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team in a forward-thinking firm.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential conveyancing, with full responsibility for managing your own caseload.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity

• Preparing and issuing contracts

A leading Legal 500 law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to manage a varied caseload and deliver exceptional client service in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Role Overview

You will handle all aspects of residential property transactions, including but not limited to:

• Advising clients on sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity
• Managing ID checks, source of funds verification, gift deposits and risk assessments
• Preparing and issuing contracts
• Handling mortgage redemptions and exchanges of contracts
• Ordering and reporting on property searches
• Reviewing and reporting on titles, leases and raising associated enquiries
• Checking and reporting on mortgages and management packs
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with referrers

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential conveyancing, with full responsibility for managing your own caseload
