Job summary

Eventus Legal is recruiting a Conveyancing Paralegal to join the residential property department in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. This permanent, full-time role supports fee earners across the full conveyancing process, offering a collaborative culture and progression opportunities.

You will work on a broad range of transactions, maintain client relations, and contribute to a busy, supportive team with flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential conveyancing from instruction through to post-completion.
• Ability to work with some autonomy under supervision within a busy property team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when preparing legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist fee earners with a varied caseload of residential property transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Draft legal documents, contracts and supporting correspondence throughout the conveyancing process.
• Prepare contract packs and issue documentation to solicitors and third parties.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, lenders and solicitors to provide updates.
• Review title documentation and raise standard enquiries.
• Order and review property searches and report results to fee earners.
• Open files and ensure compliance requirements are completed accurately.
• Carry out AML checks and identify verifications.
• Prepare completion statements and assist with financial transactions.
• Support exchange and completion processes to meet deadlines.
• Assist with post-completion matters including SDLT and Land Registry filings.
