Job description

We’re working with an established and forward-thinking law firm who are currently seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join their busy Residential Property team. The Role:
Based in Peterborough, this position supports Fee Earners in managing a high volume of residential conveyancing transactions. You'll play a key role in delivering excellent client service and ensuring smooth, efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing local search results and comparing them with existing records
  • Managing Help to Buy loan redemptions and liaising with lenders
  • Communicating with clients, sales offices, and solicitors, escalating complex matters when needed
  • Verifying mortgage offers and resolving related client and lender queries
  • Collecting deposits and documentation from clients, preparing files for exchange
  • Managing post-completion work, including registrations
  • Conducting search applications and handling the closure of abortive files
  • Generating quotes and opening new files during busy periods
  • Drafting and dispatching sale documents to buyers’ solicitors
About You:
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a conveyancing or legal support role, be a proactive team player who can also work independently, have strong IT skills with excellent attention to detail, and the capacity to handle a fast-paced workload.
