Job description

My client is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join their highly successful Conveyancing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Solicitor in progressing files in a timely manner.
  2. Maintain all allocated files in good order, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
  3. Handle case enquiries via telephone and email, delivering first-class customer service.
  4. Optimise the client experience using our conveyancing systems and technology.
  5. Liaise with clients, lenders, mortgage brokers, and other solicitors.
  6. Maintain detailed telephone notes and manage emails and calls promptly.
  7. Obtain redemption statements and conduct pre-completion searches.
  8. Submit standard property searches.
  9. Assist with completions and administrative tasks between exchange and completion.
  10. Prepare and manage Requisitions on Title.
  11. Prepare completion statements, invoices, and exchange/completion letters.
  12. Undertake additional tasks as required by the Case Manager/Senior Case Manager.
  13. Work from a task list, following prompts and taking appropriate action.
  14. Accurately input data into a case management system.
The Ideal Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or in a similar role.
  2. Experience with leasehold and new build transactions.
  3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
  4. Proficiency with Case Management Systems, preferably Visual Files.
  5. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
