  • Typing and formatting conveyancing documents (e.g., contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements)
  • Managing client files (physical and digital)
  • Scheduling appointments and updating calendars
  • Answering phones, handling emails, and responding to client inquiries
  • Preparing initial client care letters and forms
  • Drafting and sending standard letters to clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors
  • Requesting and reviewing property searches
  • Ensuring compliance with conveyancing regulations and firm procedures
  • Keeping accurate records for audits and professional indemnity insurance purposes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Conveyancing Legal Secretary should have:
