If you’re a legal assistant with residential conveyancing experience looking to join a friendly, supportive, and well-regarded firm in Somerset, read on.

A highly respected Lexcel-accredited law firm with multiple offices across Somerset is seeking a legal assistant to support its busy residential conveyancing team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in either Wells or Street, where you’ll work closely with fee earners to ensure smooth management of client matters from file opening through to post-completion.

Responsibilities
  • Support the busy residential conveyancing team from file opening through to post-completion.
  • Prepare client care letters, carry out AML checks, collate title information, obtain redemption statements, run property searches, and draft contract packs.
  • Assist with exchanges and handle registrations at completion.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, agents, and other third parties, keeping everyone updated and helping resolve issues.
