Job summary

QED Legal is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its modern, well-regarded law firm with Garstang or Lytham offices. You will manage a full conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion, handling freehold, leasehold, purchases, sales and remortgages, and liaising with clients and agents to keep processes moving.

You may be a Solicitor, by CLC or CILEX, but strong practical conveyancing experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Substantial conveyancing experience as a fee earner.
• Ability to manage a full conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion.
• Strong organisational and progression-minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage conveyancing files including freehold, leasehold, purchases, sales and remortgages from instruction to completion.
• Prepare and draft documentation as required.
• Liaise with solicitors, clients and estate agents to progress transactions.
• Keep the case management system up to date.
• Handle exchange and completion of files.
• Address pre-contract enquiries and title investigations.
