They are seeking an experienced conveyancing assistant with several months of experience in sales and purchase transactions to join their busy property team in West Yorkshire.

The role involves inputting data and preparing legal documents. Accuracy and careful following of instructions are essential, especially when dealing with a high volume of work. The firm values professional and friendly client care, and the candidate should be client-focused with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Tasks

  • Opening new files and inputting instructions into the Case Management system, producing relevant letters and documents
  • Updating the Case Management system as the matter progresses
  • Issuing contracts on sale files and assisting with replies to enquiries
  • Ordering searches
  • Dealing with exchanges and related paperwork
  • Setting up completions
  • Issuing mortgage reports to clients
  • Handling incoming post and telephone enquiries
  • Filing, billing, faxing, photocopying, sorting post, and archiving
  • General office and firm administration duties

  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
