Manpower are proud to represent our client in Garforth. They are a Solicitors office with multiple offices currently recruiting for the conveyancing team, specialising in new-build properties. We pride ourselves on delivering a professional, helpful and friendly service to all clients.
Role Overview
As Conveyancing Assistant, you will work primarily on sales and purchase transactions while engaging with clients throughout the process. We require someone who takes pride in their work, is methodical, accurate, and capable of working efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Open new files, enter instructions on the Case Management System (CMS), and generate all relevant correspondence and documents
Keep the CMS up to date following team protocols
Issue contracts for sale files and assist with replies to enquiries
Order searches and review results
Handle exchanges and associated paperwork
Prepare completion documentation and liaise with all relevant parties
Provide mortgage reports to clients
Manage incoming post and telephone enquiries where necessary
Perform filing, billing, photocopying, faxing, post sorting, and archiving
Support general administrative tasks for the office and wider firm
Excellent typing/keyboard skills
Confident numeracy and literacy
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong customer‑service focus with professionalism over the phone and in writing
Ability to work calmly under pressure and juggle competing priorities
Adaptable, flexible, and proactive mindset
Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Experience Required
Minimum 12 months' experience in a fast-paced conveyancing role
Solid experience with both sales and purchase transactions in conveyancing
Fully up to speed on case progression and able to hit the ground running
