Robert Half are proud to be working in partnership with solicitors office based in the heart of Wakefield City Centre in their search for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid background in residential conveyancing to join a friendly and professional team in a fully on-site capacity.

The Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with Conveyancing Executives, supporting a busy caseload of sale and purchase transactions. You will play a vital role in ensuring files are progressed efficiently from instruction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the full lifecycle of conveyancing files, specifically sale and purchase matters
  • Issue contract packs in line with legal procedures
  • Support with the exchange and completion process
  • Prepare and manage documentation related to completions
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, and third parties professionally and promptly
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure case management systems are updated

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
  • Confidence in issuing contract packs and managing pre- and post-completion tasks
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • A proactive and reliable team player who thrives in a busy, office-based role
