Conveyancing Assistant

35 hours a week Monday to Friday

Nice offices with on site parking and close to transport links

Salary £25-28K plus excellent benefits (read on to find out more)

I am ideally looking for someone with some experience of residential conveyancing, ideally freehold and leasehold, and have an appetite to learn for how to deal with the following (unless you have experience already)

  • Assents of legal title.
  • Assents of beneficial shares in Property.
  • Sales and purchase of beneficial shares in Property.
  • Applications for registration of registered and unregistered land.
  • SDLT returns.
  • Gifts of property.
  • Identifying Trust Registration Service registrations required.
  • Updating legal title on change of trustees.
  • Form DJP on death of registered proprietor.
  • Form SEV to sever joint tenancy.
  • Updating addresses for service.
  • Updating title to executors, noting death if required.

A little about you:

  • Previous conveyancing and administrative experience;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; and
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
