Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients and third parties via phone, email, and occasionally face-to-face.
  • Organise and chase necessary documentation including ID, mortgage offers, and searches.
  • Keep the case management system and third-party websites updated in real time.
  • Ensure excellent client service throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Create documentation and completion packs for the accounts department.
  • Complete post-exchange tasks and handle completions on completion day.
  • Support the team with general administrative tasks.

Role Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to support a Senior Fee Earner within our respected Real Estate team.

The role is integral to maintaining operational efficiency and delivering exceptional service to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicating effectively: Liaise with clients and third parties via phone, email, and occasionally face-to-face.
  • Managing documentation: Organise and chase necessary documentation including ID, mortgage offers, and searches.
  • Updating systems: Keep the case management system and third-party websites updated in real time.
  • Client service: Ensure excellent client service throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Preparing documentation: Create documentation and completion packs for the accounts department, including completion statements and invoices.
  • Handling post-exchange tasks: Complete post-exchange tasks and handle completions on completion day.
  • Assisting with administrative duties: Support the team and others as required with general administrative tasks.
