Job summary

BCL Legal is recruiting a part-time Conveyancing Assistant in Hull to support a residential conveyancer with a varied caseload from inception to post completion.

You will work within a small, close-knit team on sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold properties, remortgages, new builds, and transfers of equity, with extensive client contact.

Flexible hours and opportunities for progression are offered within the established East Yorkshire law firm.

• Must have experience assisting with a sale and purchase caseload.

Responsibilities

• Support a residential conveyancer from inception to post completion.
• Work within a small team handling a varied conveyancing caseload.
• Assist with sales, purchases, remortgages, and equity transfers.
• Handle orders for freehold/leasehold properties and new builds.
• Maintain extensive client contact.

The Role

• You will be a conveyancing assistant supporting a residential conveyancer with a residential property caseload from inception through to post completion
• You will work within a small close knit team assisting with a wide variety of conveyancing transactions
• The caseload is manageable and varied which will include:
  • Sales and purchases
  • Freehold, leasehold, registered and unregistered property
  • Extensive client contact
  • Re-mortgages
  • Leasehold flats
  • Newbuilds
  • Transfers of Equity
