Residential Property Conveyancer | Maternity Cover

We are working with a well-established law firm in the South West who are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their busy team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract (12 months, starting December 2025).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
• Deliver exceptional client care with clear, timely communication throughout each transaction.
• Handle matters independently with minimal supervision, while also working collaboratively with colleagues.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders.
• Support the team in meeting deadlines and service standards during this fixed-term cover.

Required Skills & Experience

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx), or Licensed Conveyancer with proven experience in residential conveyancing.
• Strong track record of managing a full caseload from instruction to completion.
• Excellent communication and client care skills with a proactive, approachable manner.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Availability to commit to a 12-month maternity cover contract from December 2025.
