Job summary

Gillespie Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm in South Tyneside, seeking an experienced Conveyancer to manage their own caseload and build lasting client relationships.

You’ll handle residential conveyancing matters such as freehold/leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, shared ownership, Help to Buy, and work with clients, estate agents and lenders to ensure smooth progression and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years’ residential conveyancing experience.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Strong client care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload (freehold/leasehold, remortgages, transfers of equity, shared ownership, Help to Buy).
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other parties to progress transactions.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience and build lasting client relationships.

Are you an experienced Conveyancer looking for a role where you can manage your own caseload, build lasting client relationships, and be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded law firm in South Tyneside, known for delivering exceptional client service and providing a professional environment where people can genuinely develop their careers.

The Role

You’ll manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages and transfers of equity
• Shared ownership and Right to Buy transactions
• New build and Help to Buy matters
• Client liaison from instruction through to completion

You’ll work closely with clients, estate agents, lenders and other parties to ensure transactions progress smoothly while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or equivalent experience
• 2+ years’ residential conveyancing experience
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and target-driven mindset
• Organised, proactive and detail-oriented approach
