Job summary

Macfarlane Labels in Kilmarnock, Scotland, is seeking a Conversion Machine Operator to join its production team. The role focuses on operating label applicator equipment safely, maintaining quality, and achieving production targets.

Full training will be provided, with overtime as required. The successful candidate will have at least 6 months' experience in manufacturing, good numeracy and literacy, and strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are processed accurately and efficiently to meet production targets and customer requirements.
• Follow all operating instructions, work procedures and quality standards.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate production records where required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational deadlines and business objectives.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Undertake overtime where required to support business needs.

Conversion Machine Operator

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:30 -16:00

As our business continues to grow, we are looking to strengthen our production team with the addition of an Applicator Operator at our Kilmarnock facility.

Role Overview

The Applicator Operator is responsible for operating label applicator equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. The role requires adherence to established processes and procedures, ensuring all products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.

Full training will be provided on applicator operations and associated procedures.
