Job summary

TAIT in the United Kingdom seeks a Controls Testing Technician to lead planning, execution, and management of tests for integration during factory and site phases. You will collaborate with project leads to ensure equipment is tested, QC’d, and ready for handover to clients.

You’ll bring a formal technical background, familiarity with entertainment automation, PLCs, and mechanical systems, and you may mobilize to site for commissioning and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Formal technical background with hands-on engineering experience.
• Experience with complex entertainment automation machinery.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and control theory.
• Ability to identify rigging hardware and diagnose equipment faults.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and lead factory and site testing activities.
• Create testing, tooling, and logistics plans for commissioning.
• Manage local labour during factory testing and assist on site.
• Handle inbound materials and track project status reports.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting on site.
