Job summary

TAIT, located in Pontefract, is looking for a Controls Testing Technician to join their integration team. This role involves the technical planning, execution, and management of systems for integration during factory periods. You'll work with project leads to ensure quality control and assist with troubleshooting on-site.

The ideal candidate should have a formal technical background and experience in the entertainment industry, particularly with complex automation machinery. Benefits include a competitive pension and health cashback plan.

Qualifications

• Experience working with complex, large entertainment automation machinery.
• Knowledge of entertainment/industrial automation technology.
• Understanding of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Participates in project coordination and meetings.
• Creates testing and logistics plans for factory commissioning work.
• Tests controls equipment and performs quality control checks.
• Provides technical support to onsite clients and teams.

Skills

Theatre/entertainment experience

Working knowledge of PLC programming

Ability to identify rigging hardware

Equipment failure diagnosis
