Job summary

Seismic Recruitment is seeking a Controls Systems Engineer for a site-based, 12-month contract in Peterlee. The role runs 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with pay options of £28.35 per hour PAYE or up to £47 per hour Umbrella, plus holiday and pension contributions.

The engineer will support manufacturing controls systems, perform software support, diagnostics, tuning and validation to ensure robust production equipment performance in a fast-paced factory environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capability in fault diagnosis and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver controls and software support for manufacturing operations

The Controls Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting manufacturing controls systems, ensuring robust performance of production equipment through software support, diagnostics, machine tuning, and validation activities within a fast-paced factory environment.

What the Controls Systems Engineer do:
