Location: Leamington Spa

Hours: 39 hours per week on rotating shifts

Shift Schedule: Week 1 – Monday – Thursday, Friday; Week 2 – Monday – Thursday, Friday

Job Description:

Join AGA Rangemaster as a Controls System Maintenance Engineer, where you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving our manufacturing operations. Your role will involve troubleshooting PLCs, robotics, and electrical control systems, supporting new installations, and ensuring optimal uptime and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment
  • Program, test, and debug PLC control systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and robotic systems
  • Maintain and enhance plant equipment including compressors, boilers, fire systems, lighting, and infrastructure
  • Keep maintenance areas safe, clean, and organized
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Promote health & safety best practices

Requirements:

  • Time-served apprentice or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering
  • Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing
  • Strong PLC programming and robotics knowledge
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Good communication skills
  • Calm, organized, and resilient under pressure
