Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd Derby-based client seeks a Software Engineer / Controls Engineer to design, implement and test control systems and PLCs. You will program PLCs using Ladder Logic, Function Block or STL and configure SCADA interfaces with IP network and CCTV/PA systems.

You should have an HND or higher in control/electrical/electronic or software engineering, and at least 2 years of delivery experience across control/integrated systems. On-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified to at least an HND or above in control, electrical, electronic or software engineering.
• Experience delivering control/integrated systems with multiple PLCs.
• 2+ years' experience in controls or software-enabled automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test controls and integrated systems.
• Program PLCs using Ladder Logic, Function Block or STL methods.
• Configure SCADA and UI mimic designs; work with IP networks and CCTV/PA systems.
• Perform FAT, site commissioning with client witnessing; mentor and train junior staff.
