The Controls Projects Engineer job itself where you will work amongst our small team of engineers, contract support staff and our admin team, in a friendly office environment located between Poole & Bournemouth, Dorset with occasional requirement to attend meetings and provide pre/post commissioning support for systems at customer s sites.
The role will manage PLC based system design and consultancy projects (circa GBP10K to GBP200K in size) from point of sale, through initial design and manufacture, to site commissioning. Being customer facing, great communication skills from a technical and commercial perspective, are essential. You will be responsible for a wide range of engineering design and project management tasks, with importance placed heavily on reading and interpreting technical documents to include industry standards, client specifications, P&IDs, logic diagrams.
