Job Description

The Controls Project Manager will perform investigation, installation, start-up, and servicing of low voltage automated building control systems for HVAC. This frontline service provider is responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Completing project documentation in a timely manner is required.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage installation teams on assigned projects. The Project Manager is responsible for projects from start to finish, working with office staff for engineering and programming support, and with the Operations Manager for labor scheduling.
2. Complete programming, commissioning, and checkout for equipment within the scope of the project.
3. Complete job documents and work orders promptly.
4. Keep management and customers informed of job progress and issues, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
5. Communicate regularly with customers to understand operating problems and gain operational knowledge of the building.
6. Keep customers informed about the nature of services provided, outstanding issues, and recommend system enhancements, upgrades, or replacements.
