Job summary

Randstad Sourceright partners with Mars to recruit a Controls Project Engineer Contractor for a Plymouth site. The role focuses on delivering robust EC&A projects with safety and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will bridge cross-functional teams, contractors, and site stakeholders to ensure projects are scopeled, designed, commissioned, and delivered to Mars standards. English communication and teamwork are essential, with experience in PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or equivalent.
• Certifications like PMP/NEBOSH are advantageous.
• Experience delivering Controls/Automation/Electrical projects in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver input into scoping, design, and execution of EC&A projects with proper technical documentation.
• Issue work permits and ensure compliance with Mars safety procedures.
• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation systems.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to meet timelines and objectives.
• Collaborate within a dynamic engineering team to share knowledge.
