AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating AWS global infrastructure. We manage data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure continuous access to cloud services. You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. Your role involves collaborating across AWS to uphold safety, security, and capacity standards, fostering an inclusive culture that encourages innovation and ownership.

The Data Center Capacity Delivery Asia-Pacific Controls Deployment and Service (DCCD APAC CDS) team manages control systems monitoring data center health, aiming to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance services across six disciplines: deployment, projects, service, colo, on-call support, and management.

Controls Deployment & Service (CDS) Managers oversee delivery and support of data center automation systems like BMS and EPMS. They supervise engineers and other managers, act as escalation points, and partner with various teams and vendors to ensure successful deployment and operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy data center controls on schedule, managing vendors effectively to minimize defects at Power and Facilities Handover
  • Deliver critical upgrades to data center automation systems
  • Provide support to resolve operational events impacting visibility, resilience, or scale
  • Meet SLA commitments
  • Implement initiatives to improve data center and operational efficiency
  • Perform managerial duties such as performance reviews and promotions
  • Contribute to business reports like Monthly Business Reviews
