Brooks Automation is seeking qualified controls engineers to join a team developing high-performance robot control platforms for the semiconductor industry. You’ll apply digital filtering and control theory to design motion control algorithms and tune feedback on robot hardware with MATLAB tools.

The role involves analyzing dynamic performance, verifying stability, and contributing to design verification, software configuration, and documentation.

Formación

• Experience applying control theory to motion control design.
• Experience with robotics and dynamic systems coursework or research.
• Ability to learn complex systems quickly and work independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in MATLAB plus controls toolboxes (a plus).
• C/C++ programming for real-time systems.

Responsabilidades

• Apply digital filtering and control theory to design motion control algorithms.
• Tune feedback parameters on robot hardware and verify stability and performance.
• Characterize dynamic performance, throughput, and vibration in systems.
• Perform design verification testing, software configuration, and release.
• Document work and contribute to software engineering practices.
