Controls Engineer

Salary: £45,700 - £55,240 per annum

Location: South Kensington and White City Campus - Hybrid

About the role

Imperial College London is seeking a Controls Engineer to join its Estates Engineering, Energy and Environment team.

Key responsibilities
  • Report to the Senior Controls Engineer and oversee designs, installation, amendments, and improvements to Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) across Imperial's estate.
  • Support the Property Team in managing BEMS for new and existing buildings, ensuring infrastructure services perform effectively and align with Imperial's Sustainability Strategy.
Candidate requirements
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with building controls and BMS systems (e.g., Trend, Honeywell, Siemens).
  • Technical qualifications and training in engineering.
  • Ability to operate and manage BMS IT systems, analyze complex data, identify issues, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with colleagues, external partners, and building users.
