Role overview

The role involves leading complex internal controls engagements, including US SOX, ICoFR, and Service Auditor reporting under standards such as ISAE3402 and AAF. Responsibilities include managing controls documentation and testing at client sites, delivering high-quality assignments within deadlines and budgets, and contributing to business growth by expanding our internal controls client base.

Key responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.
  2. Manage internal controls assignments, including planning, execution, review, and reporting.
  3. Understand key risks and controls within assignments.
  4. Prepare planning documents and oversee the delivery of complex engagements.
  5. Review significant findings and ensure quality standards are met.
  6. Assist Partners in managing project timelines and budgets.
  7. Lead and mentor junior staff, providing training and feedback.
  8. Contribute to business development activities, including proposals and market growth.
  9. Ensure compliance with RSM policies and standards.
  10. Perform other duties as required.
Technical skills
  1. Strong knowledge of internal controls standards (e.g., AAF, ISAE, SOX).
  2. Experience with SOX implementation and controls assurance reporting.
  3. Experience working with large global organizations.
  4. Ability to review and ensure quality of technical work.
  5. Proactive in technical training and development.
Communication skills
  1. Clear and confident verbal communication, especially with clients.
  2. Effective written communication, including drafting reports and working papers.
  3. Attention to detail and ability to foster teamwork and leadership.

Additional requirements
