Job description

Job Description: Programme and Project Specialist

The purpose of the programme or project specialist is to provide specialist hands-on support for programme and project managers. They play a proactive role in knowledge management to promote programme and project management methods and standards, and the implementation of best practices.

What you'll be doing :
  1. Operationalising and running the Acceptance into Service (AIS) process, ensuring all necessary activities are completed, and the service delivered to the customer has rigor and quality built in from the outset.
  2. Continuously improving Capita’s network Supplier Solution to ensure services and functions within the contract are delivered, working with Service Owners to validate and verify services, and implementing mitigating actions for non-compliance.
  3. Developing and maintaining account control procedures and tools tailored for access and WAN solutions in the transport industry.
  4. Providing analytical support for account cost control, scheduling, and risk management.
  5. Preparing regular reports and dashboards for change performance monitoring.
  6. Participating in account planning and review meetings, offering insights and recommendations.
  7. Contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in account controls.
What we're looking for :
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, MS Project, and SharePoint.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • An independent thinker who can take initiative.
  • Experience working on WAN/LAN projects is helpful.
