  • Assess new trades for proper valuation, accounting, and disclosure in financial statements.
  • Analyze and report the balance sheet and funding sources of the trading business.
  • Prepare financial statements and disclosures for the trading activities.
  • Collaborate with the financial reporting team on external reports such as earnings releases and 10Q/10K disclosures.

Controllers ensure that the firm meets all financial control and reporting obligations of a regulated, public financial institution. They ensure compliance with regulations governing financial transactions and work closely with business units like FICC and Equities to report key financial data such as P&L, balance sheets, and valuations.

We are seeking an associate level candidate to join the EMEA Equity Derivatives Product Control team. This role involves becoming an expert in valuation, profit and loss attribution, and disclosure of the business's positions and trades.
