A leading energy company is seeking a Controls System Technician to oversee the maintenance and operation of control systems at their Thames terminal. The position involves troubleshooting, modifying systems, and engaging in operational projects to support efficient and safe processes. This role requires strong technical skills and knowledge in gas installations along with a cooperative approach to teamwork.

We are currently recruiting for a Controls System Technician onsite at Grain to ensure the continued safe and reliable operation of Grain LNG's assets through the efficient maintenance activities of the terminal control and safety systems, incorporating all aspects of operation, modification, and maintenance activities.
As a Controls System Technician you will be responsible for the safe and time bound completion of a range of duties on Control System equipment as required including maintenance, fault investigation and equipment repair, modification, delivery of minor operational projects, assistance with commissioning activities, to ensure optimum efficiency, cost effectiveness, safety, and security.

The role is based on site at Grain (Kent) and due to the location you will need to be able to drive there and must have a full clean licence.
Be responsible for adherence to terminal's safety guidelines including Golden Rules , with completion of appropriate documentation (MoC, NRO, PTW, etc.) ensuring procedures are developed, maintained, and implemented appropriately
You will have customer orientation and strong interpersonal skills; innovative and forward thinking with a good understanding of gas installation plant and process machinery; an aptitude for team working and harmonious working between all staff. Control Systems Assistant LNG Terminal Engineer should be able to demonstrate and have a good understanding of the following areas, which includes the principles and applied applications:
