Job summary

Allied Protek Engineering Solutions Ltd. in Grimsby is seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to join a small team of multi-disciplinary engineers.

You will design, program, and maintain control systems for a range of industrial applications, ensuring reliability and efficiency on site. The role requires a degree in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering, hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens/Allen-Bradley), SCADA, HMI, and strong fault-finding skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automation or equivalent.
• Functional safety qualification advantageous.
• Proven experience in design, programming and implementation of control systems.
• Experience with PLCs, SCADA and networking protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission control systems including PLCs, SCADA and HMI.
• Develop automation solutions for manufacturing and process environments.
• Troubleshoot, optimise and validate existing systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and software engineers on projects.
• Provide documentation and technical support for users.
