Job summary

Abbott's Witney Centre of Excellence seeks an Associate Engineer (Control Systems) to support engineering and systems projects, with emphasis on PLC technology. You will run trials, analyse data and prepare reports while ensuring regulatory-compliant documentation across site and corporate standards.

Ideal candidates bring an HNC/HND in science or computing and experience in CAD, databases and project work. Opportunity to develop Vision Systems skills within a fast-growing automation environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires at least an HNC/HND in science or computing and aims to develop Vision Systems expertise.
• Experience with databases, technical drawings, problem solving and tests/experiments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with Engineering and Systems projects, focusing on PLC systems.
• Run trials on manufacturing equipment, collect and analyse data and write reports.
• Ensure documentation complies with site, Corporate and external regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
