Job summary

Hartland Recruitment & Advertising Limited is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to design PLC/HMI projects and commission them on UK sites. This role offers Midlands/Office/Home-based work with UK site travel.

You should have 4+ years in control systems engineering design, PLC programming and HMI configuration, and be able to read electrical drawings while mentoring junior engineers in a growing company.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in control systems design.

Responsibilities

Control Systems Engineers. Read this. It's time for something different.

You've been a part of a control systems engineering department, you've worked on some PLC HMI factory automation systems projects. But now, life is meetings, projects are samey, nothing's new, and you feel you're stifled, you could do more.

What we need:

• 4 years + in Control Systems Engineering design
• PLC programming experience, HMI configuration - Siemens Tia Portal experience would be good
• Ability to read electrical drawings
• Happy to mix up Midlands/Office/Home based PLC HMI control systems software design, and then commissioning those factory automation systems solutions on UK customer sites.
• Ability to work on your own projects with no micro-management, from start to finish.
• Happy to share your knowledge with less experienced team engineers, and upskill them.
• Permanent right to work in the UK- visa sponsorship cannot be given now or in the future.

What you’ll get:

It's a new job in a growing company, so salary is not totally fixed yet. Some of this is down to you to negotiate. But if I say £50,000 basic salary, it gives you a starting point. Plus benefits.
