Qualifications

  • 12 years of experience in a consulting engineering company, machinery manufacturer, or end-user company.
  • Strong experience in conceptual, pre-FEED, and FEED projects.
  • Interface knowledge of electrical systems and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of I&C design deliverables, including P&IDs and specifications.
  • Prepare budget requisitions and conduct bid evaluations.
  • Assist in developing Safety Requirement Specifications and perform automation-related functions.

Control Systems Engineer - Leatherhead

Project - Shaybah

A Control Systems Engineer is needed to work within our client’s team on an LNG FEED project.

  • Candidates must have previous Aramco experience.

Typically, the required competency and skills would have been built up over a 12-year period working for a consulting engineering company, machinery manufacturer, or end-user company.

Candidate requirements are:

  • Strong gas processing or LNG experience.
  • Conceptual, pre-FEED, study, or FEED experience.
  • Contributes to the development of preliminary and final stage Instrumentation & Control (I&C) design deliverables, including P&IDs, Instrument List, Instrument Specifications, and Instrument Data Sheets.
  • Experienced in working in early project phases, especially Concept and FEED deliverables.
  • Assists in designing process control systems based on DCS, PLC, and SCADA.
  • Experience in instrumentation requirements for custody metering standards.
  • Prepares budget requisitions and conducts bid evaluations.
  • Assists in developing Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS) and has working knowledge of IEC 61508 & IEC 61511.
  • Performs automation-related functions, including creating I/O lists, Instrumentation lists, and specifying instrumentation and control elements.
  • Interface knowledge of Electrical systems and Instrument interfaces.
  • Experience in greenfield onshore projects.
