Thanks to a high increase in workload this world leading supplier has immediate requirements for 4 Control Systems Engineers who are competent with Rockwell or Siemens PLC software.

Control Systems Engineer - The Role:

PLC Programming writing & developing code. 90% of systems use Rockwell & Siemens therefore this experience is essential.

Development of structured ladder logic, statement list and function blocks

Set-up of system communications & drives particularly AC/DC inverters

Perform testing & validation of hardware/software systems

On site commissioning of new systems both UK and worldwide including customer training

Development of robot software (training available)

Remote customer support - fault finding and diagnostics

Control Systems Engineer - The Person:

Experienced in PLC system design & programming

Systems, Software & Hardware development experience

Knowledge of Ignition systems desirable

Degree qualification (BTEC with significant controls experience will be considered)

Any ability with SCADA systems or robot programming highly advantageous, however training will be provided

You MUST be flexible for international travel. All Engineers are expected to spend 3-4 periods per year on site, for 3-4 weeks at a time.

You will join a GBP27M turnover business who actively foster a supportive environment, and will provide assistance for anyone looking for Chartered status. Each project is bespoke. Located in Shropshire, this role is commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.
