Control Systems Engineer

£40,000 - £46,000 + £4K Car Allowance + Overtime + Bonus

Midlands - Flexible / Hybrid / Remote

Control Systems Engineer - The Role:

1. Design and implement control systems including Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Schneider PLCs.
2. Develop and manage HMI SCADA systems for optimal operational efficiency.
3. Create Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and I/O Schedules in line with project requirements.
4. Interpret P&ID's to ensure accurate system configuration and performance.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
6. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by staying abreast of industry trends and technologies.

Control Systems Engineer - The Person:

1. Proven experience in PLC/Controls Engineering.
2. Proficiency with Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Schneider PLCs.
3. Strong skills in HMI SCADA systems.
4. Ability to read and interpret P&ID's.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
