Control System Engineer

Salary: £DOE

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be working with a leading offshore subsea engineering business which delivers offshore equipment to clients worldwide. It is a very exciting time to join this progressive team, as they are expanding their offices and looking to bring an experienced Controls Engineer that will work on their fast-paced, leading projects.

Control System Engineer Key Responsibilities
  1. Design control system circuits and documentation.
  2. Develop PLC, HMI/SCADA systems and software.
  3. Configure and commission inverter drives.
  4. Check and approve electrical schematics and calculations.
  5. Review designs against DNV and/or other standards.
  6. Contribute to sales proposals.
  7. Liaise with suppliers.
Control System Engineer Key Requirements
  1. Experience in designing and commissioning safety automation and control systems for marine and/or hazardous environments.
  2. Experience in PLC programming.
  3. On-site commissioning and fault-finding experience.
  4. Siemens TIA Portal experience.
  5. Experience with DNV certification (optional).
  6. Experience with SIL (optional).
