Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking a Control Room Team Leader in Stockport to supervise and develop the control room team, ensuring performance targets are met and safety standards are upheld. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with responsibility for monitoring CCTV outputs and coordinating with depots to support contract KPIs.

You will lead daily activities, drive improvements, and maintain contract knowledge while reporting on performance and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Strong team leadership skills and ability to coach and develop staff.
• Commitment to health and safety across the team and operations.
• Experience or familiarity with CCTV operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team: oversee daily activities of Control Room Operatives and provide coaching.
• Monitor health and safety: ensure CCTV usage supports safety and performance.
• Drive performance and quality: review outputs and ensure standards meet targets.
• Support operational delivery: work with depots to manage changing priorities and KPIs.
• Report on performance: produce monthly performance reports for depots.
