Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control operational assets through SCADA systems.
• Respond to alarms, faults, and operational incidents.
• Coordinate field engineer support and issue resolution.
• Monitor security systems and escalated incidents as required.
• Optimise asset performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain CMMS records and support maintenance scheduling.
• Monitor safety systems to ensure compliance and workforce wellbeing.
• Communicate and escalation operational issues to key stakeholders.

The position will be based in Ardley (Oxfordshire) and will require flexibility to work within a 24/7 operation which is a fundamental requirement of the role.

We are seeking a proactive and driven individual to join our Central Control Room as a Control Room Operative.

This is a frontline operational role responsible for the real‑time monitoring, control, and optimisation of landfill gas utilisation assets. You will play a key role in maximising asset availability and performance, responding to operational events, and coordinating field resources in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment.
